Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT: please read this information before completing our booking form

YOUR CONTRACT WITH FEEL LIFTED

1. Booking and Contracts:

You must be 18 years of age or over to make a booking with us.

We accept bookings by telephone, e-mail, fax or via our web-site.

Payment can be made by bank transfer and PayPal including credit/debit cards. There is a 2% charge on credit cards. Whilst we may agree verbally to hold an option for a limited period without payment of a deposit, this will not give rise to contractual obligations by you or ourselves, and may be cancelled by either party without penalty.

No contract shall exist until:

Either the Online Booking Form is submitted and acknowledged, or the signed Booking Form is received

and

the appropriate deposit is paid, 25% of the cost of the safari per person, or if the booking is made within 6 weeks of the departure date, the full amount is paid

and

a confirmation invoice has been issued.

Persons making payments without completing the booking form will be bound by Feel Lifted’s Booking Terms and Conditions.

2. Amendments to Your Booking:

If, after making your booking and the issue of our confirmation, you wish to change to a different Feel Lifted holiday or alter your booking in any way (e.g. changing departure date, pick-up point or passenger names) we will make the changes providing written notification is received at our office from the person in whose name the booking is made, at least 6 weeks prior to the departure date.

In the case of notifications by e-mail, the notification must come from the same e-mail address as the original booking.

Within 6 weeks of departure, such changes will incur costs of £ 10 per booking to cover administration charges.

3. Cancellation by You:

If you wish to cancel a booking, you must notify us in writing. The person in whose name the booking is made must sign the letter of cancellation, or, in the case of notification by e-mail, the notification must come from the same e-mail address as the original booking.

The cancellation date will be deemed to be the date on which written notification is received in our office, NOT the date on which a verbal notification may have been given.

Whilst we would wish to treat cancellation sympathetically our spaces are limited and the following charges must be applied. Cancellation of your holiday, for whatever reason, should be notified to Feel Lifted in writing, accompanied by a payment of £ 10 per booking to cover administration charges.

Prices:

Feel Lifted reserves the right to increase or decrease published prices without prior notice if the price increase is a result of an increase of government imposed taxes, transportation related fees or surcharges including those for fuel or currency fluctuations, but once a booking has been made and deposit paid the prices quoted are firm.

5. Complaints:

If you have a complaint during your holiday please inform your Feel Lifted contact straight away who will make all efforts to rectify the situation at the time. If the matter cannot be put right you should record the details of your complaint in writing. On your return you should write to us within 28 days with full details. We will examine all complaints and do our best to resolve to the satisfaction of all parties involved.

6. Travel Documents:

Please note that some of our Safaris, day excursions and tours require you to obtain a Visa to travel in certain areas of Sinai. Please refer to your Feel Lifted advisor for further information.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that all necessary travel documents (e.g. passports, visas, vaccination certificates etc.) are valid and effective. We cannot make applications for visas on behalf of our customers and we recommend that anyone requiring a visa contact the relevant Embassy or a professional visa agency.

No refund is given for cancellation or abandonment of a journey due to lack of correct personal documentation.

In the case of persons refused permission to board the plane and/or road transportation, or refused re-entry into Egypt due to incorrect personal documentation, Feel Lifted has no liability for any costs incurred by such persons as a result of such refusal. In order to participate in overseas holidays, clients must have travel insurance.

7. Conditions of Transportation:

On rare occasions the transportation specification may differ from that specified in our programmes, particularly in the event of low numbers.

All vehicles are NON-SMOKING at the discretion of the driver. Our itineraries include comfort breaks on long journeys.

You may not bring a pet or other animal on holiday.

You may not carry on your person or in your luggage any firearm, ammunition, explosive or any other article or substance possession of which is prohibited by law.

You are responsible for ensuring you are at the correct departure point at the correct time. We cannot be liable for any loss or expense arising from your late arrival at a departure point.

As a precaution we strongly advise clients to be at their departure point at least 15 minutes prior to their departure time.

8. Rights of Refusal:

We reserve the unconditional right to refuse a booking or to terminate a passenger’s holiday in the event of conduct which, in our reasonable opinion, is likely to cause nuisance, injury or danger to the group or staff.

9. Liability:

We do NOT accept any liability for:

Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control.

Participants’ medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the holiday.

Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.

10.

If you have had any major physical or psycological illness within the past 5 years, or are under medical or psychiatric supervision, you must notify us of the details at the time of booking and, where appropriate, enclose a doctor’s certificate of fitness to travel. Non-disclosure of relevant information can invalidate your insurance and cancel our contractual obligation to you.

11. Data Protection:

The information you provide us for your booking will be treated in accordance with Data Protection legislation. Whilst we must obviously pass the information on to the relevant suppliers of your travel and accommodation requirements, and to public authorities such as Customs and Immigration as required by law, we will not pass on personal information to any person or organisation not involved in your travel and accommodation arrangements.

We accept payments through Pay Pal and bank transfers.

All payments are protected. They are not released until the completion of your Safari/Tour/Excursion.

Deposit payments are set (per person) at 25% of the Safari/Tour/Excursion cost.

Full payments are due if your departure is within 6 weeks of booking.

We do try to be flexible however, so please contact us if this will cause a problem.

Paying by Bank Transfer

You can make a direct transfer from your account to our Bank Account. Please ensure that you cover any associated charges. Please give your surname or booking ID as a reference, and advise us when you have made this transfer so that we can confirm your payment.
